Police are now investigating this nasty rear-end damage occurrence outside 141 Erskine Ave on New Year’s Eve or morning. The Honda was legally parked when the (we suspect) tipsy driver slammed the rear left corner and drove the car up onto the sidewalk

A solid fall of snow is expected in Toronto Sunday with perhaps 5 cm falling by dawn. Another 1 to 3 cm could fall during the day. Motorists should expect hazardous winter driving conditions weather authorities say.

A New Year’s Eve wildfire has destroyed hundreds of homes in Colorado’s Boulder County after strong winds fueled the peril with almost no notice.

Loaded with gold and silver

A Brinks truck loaded with gold and silver has rolled over at Highway 401 at Renforth Rd. All of the precious metal remained inside the truck. OPP say the armoured vehicle was on a ramp off Highway 427 when the driver swerved to avoid an out-of-control car and the heavily loaded truck tipped. The three guards inside are okay.

Canada seems to be good hands hockey-wise as admiring seniors ponder the skill of Connor Bedard, 16. He scored four as Canada tromped Austria 11-2 in the World Junior in Edmonton. Bedard plays for Regina Pats and comes from North Vancouver.

Cash at the curb from man known as Drake/Twitter

Rapper Drake is seen in phone video apparently handing out a large wad of $20 bills to surprised people at an unknown location in the City. It isn’t clear just how many times he did this, or how much money was involved. Does he do this often? Where?
