Proposal for 733 Mt. Pleasant
The Rockport Group, an active developer of Midtown property, has proposed a nine-storey mixed use building at the site of former Newbigging Funeral Home at 733 Mt. Pleasant Rd. just south of Eglinton. As those in the area will know, this would place the new building about a 90-second walk from the Mt. Pleasant LRT station. The proposal submitted to the City of Toronto in November seeks rezoning and an official plan amendment to permit the mid-rise condominium. The design is by Wallman Architects. Urban Toronto
