The proposed rental tower at 589 Eglinton Avenue East, at the southeast corner of Mann Avenue, has grown once again — this time from 40 to 47 storeys.
According to UrbanToronto, the revised plans by Terracap Management would make it the tallest proposed building in the immediate Bayview and Eglinton area, near the new Leaside Station.
Despite the additional seven storeys, the number of rental apartments would actually decrease slightly, from 470 to 467, with larger suites proposed. The revised design also includes additional parking, with three above-ground levels incorporated into the building’s podium.
The Committee of Adjustment conditionally approved the changes in September 2026.

The Bulldog reported on the previous increase from 35 to 40 storeys in August 2024.
