PCs see all-day kindergarten as cost Ontario can’t afford

Premier Ford seems to be trying to let parents down gently by promising to continue all-day kindergarten into the 2019 school year. But after that, it’s likely that the 2010 Liberal inspiration will end. It has been greatly welcomed by many parents as cheap daycare, but others say it is just too expensive for a province with a debt twice the size of California. Then, Baby Amber is fine tonight but her arrival in a car in bitterly cold weather outside Brampton Civic Hospital caused a stir. Below that, Dr. Max Gomez with hope for desk-bound people who fear for their health. Lastly, it seems the musical group Maroon doesn’t give a fig whether Colin Kaepernick kneels in protest during the US National Anthem. But the media whining because they won’t take a position is hysterical on Super Bowl eve.

iPhone flaw let’s you hear friend’s audio if they don’t answer

As best we get it, Apple’s Facetime app will malfunction during group calls. It can deliver someone’s audio to the phone party even if they didn’t join it. Shocking? Maybe to some but to others it’s just the scheme of things. Yes, it’s about us, not the phone. Humans conceived it, built it and permitted a failure. It’s been known to happen. Many like to call it a glitch to hide the fact that it’s just garbage in, garbage out.

“Rock, rock” are words to live by in snowbound Toronto

And it might not be so bad if it weren’t so cold. We’re in the freezer until Saturday when it will warm up to minus 1, three on Sunday and a sweltering 4C on Monday. Weather Network
